Phonics workshop for year 1 parents in the KS1 hall at 9.00-10.00.
During the session, we will:

Explain what phonics is and how it supports early reading.

Demonstrate some of the strategies and resources we use in class.

Share examples of the types of words children will encounter in the screening check.

Provide tips and activities you can use at home to help your child feel confident to apply their phonic knowledge when reading.
