Staplehurst School

Welcome to Staplehurst School P.T.A. page.

What is the PTA? A PTA is a Parent Teacher Association, an organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for
children to learn.

We bring parents, children and teachers together to help raise funds for the school and help to strengthen the school
community.

The core PTA members are made up of working and non-working parents with children in various year groups of the school. In
the last couple of years, we have provided funds for new benches, a piece of multi-gym equipment, repairs to the playground
trim trail, educational workshops for every year, a PA system and more.

We hope your child/children are enjoying their time at our school. Whilst the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) are working with
the teaching staff to provide a rich curriculum of education, we, the Parent and Teachers Association (PTA) are working hard to
provide added fun, joy and memories that last a lifetime by enriching their school life.

Please let us know if you would like to join the PTA, it can be as an active member where you would be involved in meetings
and would have a say on how we operate and what we spend raised funds on or just to offer to run a stall for an hour at one
of our events or help out at the school disco. All levels of support are welcome.

Become an active PTA member today by emailing us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I am a parent of 4 children, 2 at the Staplehurst school, I am also a parent school governor. I do a lot of volunteering around
the village as in Girl Guide leader also Parish Councillor. I been on the PTA since 2018 and worked my way to a PTA Chair. I
really enjoy helping the school and doing things for children making them happy. It can be hard work sometimes but the more
people on PTA the less we all need to do.

I am a parent with one child at Staplehurst School and I work part-time. I have been involved in the PTA for several years now
and although it can be hard work at times, it is rewarding to see happy children enjoying an event we have organised

I have one daughter at Staplehurst School and a son who attends the local nursery. My daughter loves all the events held by
the PTA so I do my best to support when I’m not working. It’s a really nice team to be a part of.

I have two children at Staplehurst, currently in years one and three. I joined the PTA because I wanted to support the events that wouldn’t happen without them. It’s also a nice way to meet other parents.
Funds raised through the PTA make a huge difference to the daily lives of our children. So it really is a win for everyone when the events also provide so much joy. The pantomime, summer fete, colour run etc- all so much fun.
The group also meet in the local pub. What’s not to like about that!
