Great Work from Year 1

Jasmine made chocolate brownies and then as part of our Maths work, cut them into quarters. She did a great job of trying to make them of equal size.

Amy has been exploring capacity with different sized containers as one of her key learning tasks. Amy has also constructed a wonderful castle with a fully working drawbridge! She has even constructed a special stable for her royal dog Lucky. For her castle, she used cardboard boxes, tubes, cable ties and tape. Well done Amy. This is a brilliant castle.

Luca has been working hard on his castle model. He created a plan to work from and then had lots of fun painting it. What a fab castle!

Amy has made a story map of Jack and the Beanstalk. As well as cutting out and sequencing images she has used her own words to add to the story.

On Thursday Hannah participated in a world record for the greatest number of Scouts/Cubs/Beavers camping at home and doing a Scouting activity of some sort.
